Muskogee Technology Named a Top 10 Machine Tool Solutions Provider by Manufacturing Publication

Muskogee Technology boasts tremendous experience in aerospace applications. The Tribally owned business also touts a heavy fabrication department designed to serve the wind and energy sectors — producing parts for shipping fixtures, lifting devices, power generation and distribution equipment. Muskogee Technology further produces parts for the defense and oil and gas industries.

“We are the only company of our size that is AS9100D certified in aerospace CNC machining, welding, metal fabrication, and, NADCAP certified in composites,” says Westly L. Woodruff, President and CEO of Muskogee Technology.

(A widely adopted and standardized quality management system, AS9100 is an internationally recognized quality management standard specifically written for the aerospace industry.)

Situated in the heart of Southern Alabama, Muskogee Technology takes advantage of the state’s low utility rates and low cost of living reflected as cost benefits to its large clients. The company meets their mission critical needs, operating 24 hours per day, 5 days per week to fulfill client orders within a short time frame.

The leader in machine tool manufacturing is housed under the umbrella of Creek Indian Enterprises Development Authority (CIEDA), the economic development arm of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. The Tribal entity was recently recognized among industry leaders by Manufacturing Technology Insights as a Top 10 Machine Tool Solution Providers in the publication’s May Issue.

“This year’s Top 10 Machine Tool Solution Providers recognition confirms that Muskogee Technology has evolved as an industry leader in the machine tool sector, and their commitment to hard work and dedication to achieve superior manufacturing outcomes is evident in their finished products, and expanding list of partnerships.” Stephanie A. Bryan, Tribal Chair and CEO.

Muskogee Technology was selected to receive the honor by a panel of CEOs, CIOs, venture capitalists and the editorial team of Manufacturing Technology Insights. The firm joins a shortlist of companies “who are radically transforming the machine tool space,” as the publication stated, and meeting the challenges of the industry head-on.

Cody Williamson, CIEDA President/CEO commented, “We have made serious investments in Muskogee Technology and this recognition is evidence of those investments paying off. Muskogee Technology is poised for further growth in a variety of sectors including aerospace, renewable energies, oil and gas and OEM (original equipment manufacturing) to name a few.  Being recognized within a highly competitive service arena such as machine tooling really speaks to Muskogee Technology‘s dedication to being a top performer in their field.”
