The Chickasaw Nation’s WinStar World Casino and Resort will soon debut a cashless and touchless payment solution.
The technology is powered by Everi Holdings’ CashClub Wallet. WinStar, one of the world’s largest casinos, will be the first gaming property to leverage Everi’s platform.
The cashless payments through WinStar Wallet will be applicable for food and drinks, golf, and retail outlets, in addition to the casino’s electronic games — that includes 8,500 slots.
Patrons can access and use their funds in-game with WinStar Wallet, in addition to deposit money via a mobile app — or send those winnings or funds direct to their bank account.
“Creating a digital, cashless customer experience has been a focus of ours for some time and throughout our review of various solutions, it was clear Everi’s wallet met all of our goals,” said Jack Parkinson, General Manager at WinStar World.
The cashless gaming trend has grown following the American Gaming Association’s 2019 recommendation for the casino industry to adopt cashless or digital payment solutions. The COVID-19 pandemic merely sped up the process.
Early next year, Morongo Casino & Resort will unveil its new cashless gaming product that allows funds to be deposited through the casino like a credit.
